Owner | Head Instructor
Danny Duckworth has been training Martial Arts since 2006 that started learning Juko Kia under Marty Smith. He’s trained under other Japanese Jiu Jitsu instructors such as Patrick Price and John Worrell receiving his Brown Belt within the Japanese system of Zen Budokai. He has since picked up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2009 and is an Official Alliance Black Belt within the Alliance System under Raul Jimenez from Alliance Jiu Jitsu Las Vegas received Feb 2018 . He received his first stripe on his black belt under Caio Nucci on 9/11/21 then his 2nd stripe under 10X World Champion Bruno Malfacine.

Started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil during childhood and spent years sharing the art across the globe. Eventually found a permanent base at Alliance BJJ Houston in Texas, where the journey continues.

Training in Pearland TX starting in 2009 under his cousin Rob, switching to Misseal Mirranda and Pearland MMA back in 2017 then switching to Alliance under his long time friend Danny in 2018

Ruben Villarreal’s martial arts odyssey with Alliance began nine years ago, marked by dedication and a relentless pursuit of mastery. In December 2024, under the tutelage of Danny Duckworth, Ruben achieved the esteemed rank of black belt. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and fundamentals, Ruben imparts his wisdom and passion to students in our 6am classes, inspiring a new generation of practitioners with his commitment and expertise.
Muay Thai Instructor
My fitness journey began in 2009 amidst a health wake-up call. Seeking more engaging workouts, I discovered Muay Thai, a practice that fueled my passion and became a lifeline. Overcoming a challenging bout with appendicitis, I deepened my knowledge in nutrition and fitness, leading to the formation of the HERO&S Foundation. At Alliance BJJ Houston, I spearhead our Muay Thai and Boxing programs while contributing to Fit Camps and member orientation, drawing on extensive experience to nurture and inspire our community.

Originally Born and Raised in the Bronx NY. Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. Have been serving the in the Marine Corps for the last 20 years. Deployed to various countries in South East Asia as well as Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. Started training Brazilian Jiu-jitsu January 2011 in Honoulul Hawaii under Gracie Barra. Moved to Minnesota and then trained Under CheckMat. Finally moved to Texas January 2017 and have trained under Alliance for the last 5 years. I was promoted to rank of Brown belt under Professor Raul “Gacho” Jimenez, January 2019 then to Black Belt in 2021 under Danny Duckworth.
