REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY
Everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, and unclaimed orders.
At Alliance BJJ Houston, we want you to love your gear. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for purchases made through our Pro Shop.
Return Window
You have 14 days from the date you pick up your order to return an eligible item for a refund. Returns brought in after 14 days will not be accepted.
Item Condition
To qualify for a refund, items must be:
- In new, unworn, and unwashed condition
- With original tags still attached
- Free of stains, damage, wear, or odor
- Accompanied by the order confirmation email or order number
We reserve the right to refuse any return that doesn’t meet these requirements.
Final Sale Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Mouthguards
- Rashguards or training apparel that has been worn
- Hygiene items (hand wraps, cups, inner shorts)
Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange the same item in a different size within 14 days of pickup, subject to availability. Exchanges are for identical items only — different styles or colors will need to be processed as a refund and a new purchase.
If the new size isn’t in stock, we can place a special order or issue you a refund.
How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (the credit or debit card used to place the order). Refunds typically show on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
We don’t issue partial cash refunds or checks. If your original card is no longer valid, we’ll issue store credit instead.
Pickup Window & Unclaimed Orders
You have 30 days from the date of your order to pick it up at the gym. We’ll send an email when your order is ready for pickup.
If an order isn’t picked up within 30 days, you’ll have two options:
- Refund to your original payment method, minus a 5% restocking fee
- Store credit for the full order amount, valid for 1 year from the date of issue
We’ll reach out before taking any action. If you need more time, just let us know.
Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we’ll replace it for free or issue a full refund — your choice. Let us know as soon as possible and bring the item in so we can take a look.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
Returns and exchanges are handled in person at the gym:
- Bring the item(s) back to Alliance BJJ Houston during regular gym hours
- Have your order number or order confirmation email ready
- Speak with the front desk or a manager
- We’ll verify the item is eligible and process your refund or exchange on the spot

This policy applies only to Pro Shop purchases. Membership dues, class drop-ins, and event registrations have separate terms — please contact us directly for those.
