Houston headquarters for Alliance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2015
Alliance BJJ Houston is proud to serve as the Houston headquarters for Alliance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most elite BJJ teams in the world. Since 2015, we’ve been dedicated to bringing world-class training to the Houston community.
Our instructors have trained directly under Alliance founders Romero “Jacaré” Cavalcanti, Fabio Gurgel, and Alexandre Paiva (“Gigi”). We’re part of a legacy that includes legendary athletes such as Lucas Lepri, Bruno Malfacine, Bernardo Faria, Cobrinha, Michael Langhi, and many more world champions.
The Alliance Methodology
We teach the renowned Alliance Methodology, a comprehensive system that emphasizes fundamentals for self-defense while building the technical foundation necessary for high-level competition. This proven approach has produced more world champions than any other team.
Top athletes and coaches from around the world visit our school yearly, providing our students with unique training opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge techniques.
Our training culture is intense yet respectful. We push each other to grow while maintaining the values of discipline, humility, and mutual respect that are at the heart of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

A full range of dumbbells for accessory work, from light warm-up sets to heavy pressing.
